Opportunities

We have no current employment opportunities. Texapedia is volunteer-run and has no paid staff.

Internships (Research Assistant)

Texapedia may have future need of one or more interns or student researchers for temporary work. Qualified candidates would demonstrate strong writing abilities and experience with legal research, legal practice, historical research, government practice, teaching, or a related field.

Responsibilities would include:

  • fact-checking existing articles for out-of-date information;
  • updating articles with post-election information (generally November-December);
  • in-depth research in a particular area of interest;
  • expanding existing articles that need further development (“stubs”).

If interested, please reach out with a statement about your qualifications and motivation.

Contributors

Texapedia is a work in progress. We are open to article submissions from qualified contributors. Your article must meet our high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and readability. Upon publication, your article will be publicly attributed to you as author.

Board of Advisors

We are looking for interested and qualified individuals to help us in an advisory role. This would be a voluntary position to help advance the mission of Texapedia to promote civic knowledge. Candidates for the role should have extensive experience in law, education, or government.

Prospectively, we are also interested in finding individuals to serve on a board of directors.
